Grapefruit was grown in Egyptian soil to be perfect in size and ripeness. Grapefruit is a subtropical citrus tree known for its large sour to semisweet and bitter fruit. Grapefruit is a citrus hybrid originating as combination between the sweet orange and pommel. Grapefruit juice contains about 50% the citric acid of lime or lemon juice, and about 50% more citric acid than orange juice.

Grapefruit can enhance and protect reproductive health. Grapefruit and all citrus fruits are full of antioxidants, vitamin C, and folic acid.
